"And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them 3 and said, 'Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven."

Dreaming Of Being Rich, Having it All?

Dreaming Of Being Rich, Having it All?
Being rich is not determined by how big your wallet is but rather how big your heart is and the kindness of your soul.

REV3.17 "Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:"

Tell me, what's the cost of riches when you loose eternal life? Think about that for a moment. Do you realize how fast this (mortal) life passes?
Today turns into 60 years, 60 years in to 20, or 40 more if your lucky. This all happens to mortals in the blink of an eye.
Money is not evil, the ultimate love of that money is the supreme evil. If someone told you tomorrow you only had 6 months to live, would you spend those months trying to make MORE money? I doubt it.
When you are put in your final resting place, what do you think those that attend your service be discussing. Will it be...
  • How wonderful you were
  • What a kind person you were
  • That you were a God loving religious human
  • or
  • Thoughts of how much money you had
  • Who will get that money
  • What your heirs will spend all your money on?
Will you have an eternal life of perfectness or will the life you just finished be the end? When you don't put God and others above you, when you don't turn from idle riches you have lost all hope of eternal life.
Are those riches you seek worth your eternal soul?
Money is not what makes you rich, it might give you higher status, fancy things and people befriending you but those things do not matter.
Sadly many seekers of riches don't even realize they are the poorest people on Earth for they have lost Eternal Life and the Kingdom of Heaven.
REV3.18: "I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see."
Regardless of the riches you collect upon earth only God's riches count those "gold tried in the fire".
May you bless all those you touch,
