"And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them 3 and said, 'Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven."

Homeless Man And Former Crip Gang Leader, Saves Dallas Police Officer from Attack

Homeless Man And Former Crip Gang Leader, Saves Dallas Police Officer from Attack

The ultimate act of kindness and change. This homeless man a former Crips gang leader helped a police officer by pulling a man high on PCP off the officer. This act is amazing in it's self. The very fact that a former Crips member would help and officer but what's more amazing to me is that...

There are so many people in the world that will walk right by others in need of help not nearly as serious as this every single day! We have become so wrapped up in our own lives and petty problems that the needs of others just passes us by.

I can see someone walking by with their head down texting a friend and never even see the officer's attack. I can see others feeling that someone else would come help the officer. I can even see some that would pass by thinking, "Oh well it's a cop they deserve it."

Is this the type of world you want to live in because it's sure not the world I want for us. Let me just add here this doesn't just apply to a death defying feet. This is about helping others with simple things. Stop and think today about what you last did to help someone regardless how simple the task you did for them.

This story is about a homeless man that was an ex-gang member down on his luck, struggling in life with all the reasons in the world to be tied up in his own problems and yet...

You can see on video the heart of the man. This is what you should strive for by looking outside you and seeing what (You) can do for others.

Bless you and all those lives you will touch today,
