"And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them 3 and said, 'Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven."

American Disaster Central

American Disaster Central

You might find yourself asking, "When is enough, enough?" Natural and man-made disaster just keep on coming. The main question most have is why? Why so many hurricanes, fires, tornadoes, shootings, bombings, vehicular mass murders unfortunately the list gets longer.

The question why is as old as time. Natural disasters are forces of nature, the disasters of men are not. I can not explain Nature to you however concerning the disasters caused by man are summed up quite perfectly in this quote:

“A Native American elder once described his own inner struggles in this manner: Inside of me there are two dogs. One of the dogs is mean and evil. The other dog is good. The mean dog fights the good dog all the time. When asked which dog wins, he reflected for a moment and replied, The one I feed the most.” ― George Bernard Shaw (https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/tag/good-and-evil)

I have no idea how in the world FEMA and the Red Cross can keep up much less find all the funding and manpower they need to do the jobs facing them. If you can find it in your heart to help these people please give. These are those on the ground many times in hideous conditions helping others. They deserve our respect and help.

God bless all those victuims of all the disasters around the world, God bless you and all those lives you touch.
